About Breach Report

Built by someone who kept losing track of the scoreboard.

Who's behind it

Breach Report is built by DeplorableTM , an indie developer and Rainbow Six Siege enthusiast who's been playing Siege since 2015 and has the badge to prove it. In his own words: "Gamer at heart, disaster in practice. A friend once dubbed my gaming skills 'Deplorable,' and the nickname stuck." His goal has always been simple: have fun with friends playing the game he loves. Rank and win rate are secondary.

Where it started: a pen, a pad, and bragging rights

Long before there was a bot, or even any code, there was a notepad. Deplorable and his squad kept score the old-fashioned way: after every round, everyone called out their stats, and Deplorable hand-tallied it on paper. Add it all up at the end of the night, and whoever came out on top got bragging rights until the next session.

From paper to a program

The tally sheet eventually became a simple Python application. Same callouts, same after-every-round rhythm, but now Deplorable typed each result in instead of writing it down, and the program did the math and posted the results to the squad's Discord server once the session wrapped.

Cutting out the callouts

That beat paper, but it still meant real work between sessions and full attention on the scorekeeping during every match. So Breach Report evolved again: instead of someone typing in every result by hand, it started pulling stats straight from the game's own data automatically, and posting them on its own, no callouts required.

Sharing it with every squad, not just one

At that point, the obvious question was: if this was useful for one group of friends keeping score, why not everyone else's squad too? So the tool that started as a scrap of paper became something any Discord server could add for itself, which is the version you're using today.
